The Fayetteville Fire Department responded to a large fire at a well-known funeral home on Thursday night.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:30 p.m. at Rogers & Breece Crematorium at 510 North St.
Upon arrival, the first fire department units encountered a heavy fire from the roof of the single-story commercial structure.
Firefighters requested additional equipment and personnel due to the severity of the fire.
Fire department units and firefighters were on-site into Friday morning, working to put out the flames.
