
ELBERON, Iowa (KCRG) – A preliminary hearing is coming up this week for the former director of the Elberon Library.
Court documents show on May 22nd, Bailey Jenkins persuaded and allowed seven children to destroy parts of the library leading to almost $18,000 in damage.
The Marshalltown Times-Republican reports she also posted on the library’s Facebook page on that date that it was her last day.
She is facing seven counts of solicitation to commit a felony and two counts of criminal mischief.
Her next court date is this Friday.
