TAMPA, Fla. (CBS12) — One man is dead and two others were injured after a man drove asemi-truck into a strip club early Tuesday morning.
The Tampa Police Department (TPD) said at 4:19 a.m.,officers responded to a truck versus pedestrian in the parking lot of the Emperors Gentleman Club at 5718 E. Adamo Drive.
When officers arrived at the scene, they saw a semi-truck cab had crashed into the front of the building.
Witnesses told police that the driver was just kicked out of the club and suddenly returned and crashed his truck into a group of people standing at the entrance.
The TPD said a man was killed and two others were injured as a result of the crash. The two injured men are expected to survive.
