
KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) – A Loudon man wanted out of Knox County, who told the Knox County Sheriff’s Office he was Garth Brooks, was taken into custody after assaulting deputies, according to an arrest report obtained by WVLT News.
On Wednesday, May 1, first responders were dispatched to the Hobby Lobby on Clinton Highway after receiving a 911 call about an intoxicated male. According to the report, Truman Wayne Chapman, 47, was outside of the store screaming for help.
Before deputies arrived, Chapman left the scene, and shortly after employees at a nearby Lowes said the man was inside the store’s restroom, yelling.
