In a statement, the airline said the plane made a precautionary landing after a burning smell was detected in the cabin. There were 260 passengers and 13 crew on board.

Air France says it is sending a plane from Montreal to Iqaluit after its passengers were stranded when one of its planes made an emergency landing in the Nunavut capital on Tuesday.
The plane is expected to bring passengers to John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York.
