
The second night of the Democratic National Convention saw just a slight lift in viewership as 20.6M people tuned in across 12 networks, according to Nielsen.
That’s about half a million more than the first night, once again besting the audience for the Republican National Convention, which suffered from a steep decline to just 14.8M viewers in its second night.
This is also up from the second night of the DNC in 2020, which averaged 19.2M viewers.
Night 2 of the DNC was broadcast live from Chicago from approximately 10:00 p.m. to 11:45 p.m. ET, featuring speeches from Former President Barack Obama, former First Lady Michelle Obama, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, and more.
