A mom who was found fatally shot at her home in California was killed by her estranged husband while she was on a work call.
Ashley Bird, 35, was found by police deputies with a gunshot wound to her head laying on the couch inside her home in La Presa, California.
Her estranged husband Christopher Bird, 39, was the main suspect in the case after the shocking discovery, and was later found dead inside his own vehicle.
The ordeal left their nine-year-old son without both of his parents, and two families heartbroken.
According to Ashley’s sister Allison, her sister was in a Zoom meeting with a work colleague at the time
