
SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — A Salt Lake City flight headed to Las Vegas was forced to divert after the aircraft was struck by lightning.
Director of Communications and Government Relations for the Utah Department of Corrects, Glen Mills, was a passenger on the Friday, Aug. 9 flight originally scheduled to depart from the Salt Lake City International Airport at 3:45 p.m.
The flight was delayed an hour due to apparent traffic troubles at the Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas.
