
SOUTHGATE, Ky. (WKRC) – On a hillside in Northern Kentucky, the land is sliding and cracks are appearing inside homes.
Now, engineers are “strongly recommending” people in dozens of condos evacuate because of an “active landslide.”
The news was delivered on Friday in a letter from the HOA’s attorney explaining a sewer expansion project is potentially causing the hillside to shift.
The building is being pulled apart at the seams.
The damage is most apparent on the lower level, but it’s slowly reaching the third floor.
There are cracks in the floor and on the walls.
These condo owners are moving because their homes are quite literally moving.
The soil underneath Woodland Hills Condominiums has been shifting for a “couple of months.”
