An intruder has tried to break into Drake’s $100 million mansion just one day after his security guard was shot in the vicinity.
The Toronto Police Service has told DailyMail.com a person tried to access the Bridle Path property – and ended up brawling with security officers outside.
They added that the intruder, who has not been named, was detained under the Mental Health Act. In Ontario this law allows cops to take people into custody if they are posing a threat to others or themselves.
It comes as Drake’s security guard was left fighting for his life after being gunned down outside the property in a drive-by shooting the day before.
Police said the Wednesday intrusion is not linked to the shooting.
