
A warning sent to staff on an internal communications system warned about the bird behaving aggressively, with a notice advising staff to “avoid the area if possible”.
One staff member, who did not want to give her name, said she heard that the crow had attacked people on Wednesday afternoon and on Thursday morning, before it came for her.
“The crow was sweeping down and pecking people on the head, and it caused some bleeding,” she said.
“I came from the Undercroft car park into the garden, so avoided the garden, because the garden was taped off, then when I went back to go through the Undercroft the crow came from the garden and attacked me.
