A Bath man was arrested on July 19 following a disturbance in the Village of Bath. Shaun Haynes, 25, was charged with disorderly conduct, a violation of New York State law.
Police responded to West Washington Street after receiving multiple reports of a naked man causing a disturbance. Officers found Haynes under the influence of drugs, threatening to kill officers and others. He allegedly spat at an officer and tried to start a physical altercation before being taken into custody.
Haynes was transported to Ira Davenport Hospital Medical Center and issued an appearance ticket. He had been released from prison on July 18 and is on NYS Parole until 2029.
