WICOMICO COUNTY, Md. (WBFF) — A Maryland man was arrested and charged with the murder of his mother after she was found “unresponsive” in the bathtub, according to Maryland State Police (MSP).
Jeremy Gentry, 48, was charged with first and second-degree murder, first and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment. Police said he is currently awaiting a bond hearing.
On May 5 shortly before 9 p.m., the Fruitland Police Department and EMS responded to a home in Wicomico County for the report of an unconscious woman, according to police.
Once officials entered the home, police said they located “an unresponsive woman in the bathtub.”
