A MOTORCYCLIST has paid out a whopping $139 after he was fined for making a signature change to his license plate.

Rider Scott DiRoma thought it was “total nonsense” when police pulled him over for his plates, but a judge declared the road laws are more than clear and enforceable.

New Jersey police stopped the motorcycle rider in 2019 after they caught him traveling with an upside-down license plate, according to NJ.com’s reporting in 2020.

At the time, DiRoma flipped the license plate around because “he thought it was cool,”…
