
DAGGETT COUNTY, Utah — A campground was evacuated Monday evening after a wildfire sparked up in Daggett County.
Utah fire officials said the blaze, named the Sunny Cove Fire, prompted the cautionary evacuation of Mustang Ridge Campground near Flaming Gorge Reservoir Monday night.
Firefighters said the fire was sparked by lightning on U.S. Forest Service land and had burned an estimated 100 acres as of Tuesday morning. There are no reported injuries and no damage reported.
