A man was seriously hurt after misjudging a leap from a cliff and crashing onto rocks at a beauty spot in Tenerife.
The 40-year-old man, thought to be British, was stretchered away from the scene.
Footage shows a group of men, believed his friends, counting down from five before he launched himself into the air.
He smashed feet-first on the rocks around the small sea surface he had intended to jump in.
His friends reacted immediately when he missed his target and rebounded from the rocks into the water with a clearly broken leg.
Some appeared to have performed the same leap moments…
