A mum’s bid to shed a few pounds almost killed her when she was rushed to hospital after using a ‘skinny jab’ she bought on Instagram.
Shannon Flannery spent four days in A&E urinating blood and vomiting continuously after taking the dodgy fat-busting injection she purchased online.
The Instagram seller told the 27-year-old they were a ‘safe seller’ and marketed their appetite-suppressing drug as ‘celebs’ best kept secret’ which contained ‘no dangerous pre-mixes’.
Shannon paid £120 for ten-weeks worth of injections which arrived in the post with instructions on how to mix the ingredients yourself.
