
Veteran gifted new roof from Habitat for Humanity: ‘It was like winning the lottery’
A local veteran received a much-needed gift from Habitat for Humanity this week. Air Force veteran and retired Will County Sheriff’s deputy Bruce Suggs said his prayers had been answered when he was gifted a new roof for his home.
