


INDIANAPOLIS — A road rage shooting on I-465 last month that injured an 18-year-old erupted over a stray piece of trash that blew out of his pickup, according to police.
The new details about the gunfire on the interstate were revealed Monday when Indiana State Police announced the arrest of a 19-year-old man on a preliminary aggravated battery charge in connection with the July 21 road rage investigation.
IndyStar is not naming the accused because he has not been formally charged.
