A badger has been rescued after falling into a skate bowl in Cornwall.
Cornwall Badger Group said the animal could not escape the area at Newquay Skate Park due to it being too steep.
Volunteer Dave Hudson helped the badger escape on Sunday morning with a blanket and a plank of wood.
He said: “I found the badger kind of curled up in the middle of the skate park in the bowl, originally we thought he was injured, but I think he just kind of scraped up his paws a little bit trying to get out… he was moving totally fine.
