
APRIL 12–The 20-year-old motorist who was recently caught going 199 mph on a Florida roadway has copped to a reckless driving charge, according to court records.
Luis Lozano-Figueroa entered a no contest plea to the misdemeanor count during a court hearing last week. He was ordered to pay about $900 in fines and court fees, and will have to complete a 12-hour “aggressive driving” class.
Lozano-Figueroa was arrested in January when cops spotted a red 2016 Chevrolet Camaro engaging in a 1 AM street race along the Florida Turnpike in Orange County. Lozano-Figueroa was driving the vehicle, and there were two passengers in the souped-up ride (a 19-year-old man and a 16-year-old).
