Israel’s Iron Dome is being “overwhelmed” by Hezbollah rockets, according to reports, as officials have warned an attack by Iran is imminent.
A second round of Hezbollah missiles hit the dome on Friday, sources said.
Videos show multiple rockets from the Iran-backed group soaring across northern Israel and hitting the dome as sirens blare in the background.
Observers said the rockets appeared to have “overwhelmed” the Iron Dome, due to the sheer scale of the attack, though no casualties have been confirmed yet.
This comes as Israel’s military said Thursday it is prepared to defend the country and strike back if Iran retaliates for a deadly airstrike on the Iranian Consulate in Syria.
